This Highland single malt matured for 27 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, from 1990 to 2017, offers the depth and intensity that only extended sherry cask ageing can deliver. Rich dried fruits, Christmas spices, and dark chocolate coat the palate, while the wood has imparted a velvety, luxurious mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, with layers of toffee and dried fruit persisting. A substantial dram for dedicated sherry cask enthusiasts.
