Williamson 10 Year Old 2010 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)

Laphroaig's 10-year-old, released under the Williamson name (honouring legendary distillery manager Bessie Williamson), was aged in Oloroso sherry hogsheads and bottled at 47.5% ABV. The sherry casks mellow Laphroaig's trademark medicinal, peaty character into something more rounded, with dried fruit and spice layering beneath the smoke and brine. The texture is generous and warming with a lingering smoky-sweet finish. An excellent balance of Laphroaig's intensity and sherry-cask refinement.
