Laphroaig 21 Year Old 1998 (cask 13523) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

Distilled on Islay in April 1998, this Laphroaig matured for 21 years in a refill hogshead before Douglas Laing bottled it in August 2019 at 56.3% ABV with no colouring or chill-filtration. The result is an uncompromising expression of Laphroaig's characteristic peat, brine, and medicinal intensity, bottled as part of the Xtra Old Particular series with 213 bottles released.
