The GlenDronach 27 Year Old 1990 (cask 7003)

GlenDronach's 1990 distillate aged for 27 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, one of just three whiskies from their 16th batch of single cask releases, yielding 617 bottles. The long maturation in PX wood builds deep notes of raisins, dark chocolate, and candied citrus, with a velvety texture and persistent sweetness on the finish. This rewards patient sipping and suits those with an appreciation for sherried Highland malts at their most developed.
