GlenDronach 24 Year Old 1993 (cask 401)

GlenDronach's 24-year-old single sherry butt represents extended maturation in quality wood without compromise. From 1993 to 2017, the spirit absorbed deep raisin, dried fig, and Christmas spice from the butt's previous life, while the distillery's characteristic waxy texture evolved into something honeyed and almost baroque. The resulting spirit is dark, dense, and intensely sherried without losing the underlying malt character. Limited to 659 bottles, this is for those with patience to understand how time and cask craft single malt.
