Glendronach 1992 / 28 Year Old / Cask #7418 / Batch 19 Highland Whisky

This 1992 vintage from Batch 19 of GlenDronach's single cask series spent 28 years in an oloroso puncheon before bottling in 2021 at 54.8% abv, concentrating decades of wood influence into 672 bottles. Blackberry, raspberry purée, oak spice, baked orange and dark sugar lead the nose, followed by ripe plum, grapes, toasted walnut, honey, cinnamon and hazelnut on the palate. The sherry cask has fully integrated with the spirit, creating a seamless, mature expression. A showcase of how time and wood craftsmanship transform distillery character into something profound.
