Matured for over 30 years in a single cask (number 1895), this 1966-vintage Balvenie represents the distillery's Vintage Cask series at its most venerable. Bottled in 1997 at 45.5% from a limited 192-bottle release, the extended wood contact imparts considerable depth and complexity to Speyside's characterful grain. A serious collector's bottling requiring proper cellaring knowledge and commitment.
