Description
Distilled in 1961 at Longmorn in Speyside and aged for 57 years in a first-fill American oak sherry hogshead, this Gordon & MacPhail bottling represents one of the oldest releases from the distillery. Decades of maturation in active wood have concentrated the spirit into a complex study of sherry influence, oxidation, and the marriage of spirit and wood. A rare historical artefact for collectors of pre-1970s Speyside whisky.
