Arran distilled in 1996 matured for 24 years in a single hogshead, receiving a sherry finish that deepened its island character while preserving its natural vibrancy—bottled at 46.3% ABV for the 2021 Malt & Music Festival. Over two decades of maturation imparted rich, layered complexity and depth typical of well-aged sherry casks, yet Arran's distinctive character remains recognisable throughout. Only 245 bottles were released. A mature, sophisticated island malt for collectors who value balance over intensity.
