Batch 11 of GlenDronach's Cask Strength series reaches 59.8% abv through maturation in both Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry casks, concentrating the distillery's rich, nutty and sweet character. Higher alcohol volume intensifies wood influence and amplifies the natural sweetness sherry aging provides. The fuller strength creates a warming, textured experience suited to contemplative moments. Best appreciated by firelight or in colder months, when the spirit's depth becomes most rewarding.
