Bunnahabhain 26 Year Old 1989 - Single Cask (Master of Malt)

This 26-year-old from Islay's Bunnahabhain was laid down in a bourbon cask in December 1989 and bottled in November 2016 by Master of Malt for their Single Cask Series. Long maturation in ex-bourbon wood would have softened the distillery's typically unpeated character, allowing orchard fruit and maritime notes to develop alongside subtle oak.
