Known as 'Ping No.1,' this 1972 Ardbeg single cask was distilled during the distillery's most robustly peated era and bottled in 2002 by Juuls Vinhandel for a Danish business anniversary—a genuine rarity and collector's item. At 51.4% cask strength, the whisky captures three decades of pure Ardbeg character: thick peat smoke, maritime intensity, and subtle honey underneath. The texture is full and oily, with a long, warming finish of tar, brine, and fading citrus. For serious collectors seeking scarce, historically significant Islay whisky with genuine provenance.
