Ardbeg 1975 / 27 Year Old / Old Malt Cask Islay Whisky

A 1975 Ardbeg single cask from Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask series, representing a transitional year when the distillery began using more external barley, resulting in lighter peat than preceding vintages. Even so, the whisky retains Ardbeg's signature maritime character—smoke, brine, and a dry mineral edge—complemented by subtle fruit and wood spice from extended maturation.
