Description
Auchentoshan's Lowland single malt was matured for a decade in a first-fill Marsala wine barrique, bottled at cask strength (56.7% ABV) by Brave New Spirits as part of their Rebels – The Guerilla Casks range. The Marsala finish imparts rich wine-soaked fruit notes and dark spice complexity atop the distillery's characteristically light, grassy base. Only 212 bottles were produced in March 2021. Suited to those seeking unusual cask experiments and higher-proof Lowland expressions.
