Glenmorangie's Tale of Winter is a 13-year-old Highland single malt finished in Marsala wine casks from Sicily, delivering warmth and spice more assertive than the distillery's standard expressions at 46% ABV. The Marsala finish imparts orange, toffee, and rose petal aromatics alongside cocoa, ginger, and cinnamon spice on the palate, creating a richer, more dessert-like profile than bourbon-cask maturation alone. The higher strength and wine cask influence create a full texture with lingering spice and sweetness in the finish. A seasonal release suited to winter drinking or as an alternative to Glenmorangie's year-round range.
